You only live once

I read a quote somewhere which said "I wish I could be fifteen again for now I know what to do." And that really hit deep. Because no matter how much we learn and how much we do, we cannot go back into the past. Ever. Life is moving forward and it's moving fast. And there's absolutely nothing we can do to stop it. This brings me to my next point, we have absolutely no idea as to what we're doing. And that is fine, it's normal, because none of us have ever done this before. None of us have ever experienced life before. None of us know what is in hold for us. None of us have any idea as to what consequences the actions we take will have. So why are we so hard on ourselves? On each other? Why do we blame people for their mistakes, when we know better than anyone that we have no control over the consequences of our actions? Any person who makes a decision which doesn't goes in their favour had no idea that it won't, because if they did, they wouldn't make it. Any person who makes a decision that ends up working for them, had absolutely no idea that it would work. It's all a fluke. Mere luck. Like playing ludo, you throw the dice not knowing what the outcome will be. That's life. You make decisions without knowing what the results would be. So why not be kind to ourselves and to others, for we're all in this game of unknown outcomes together. We're all slowly but surely trying to find our way around life, trying to figure it out bit by bit, facing whatever it is that life throws at us one by one, making decisions without truly knowing what'll happen. Yolo.

at this point i've started treating this blog more like a diary ;)
