Read these books to get out of a slump!

Getting into a reading slump is one of the worst things that can happen to a reader. If you unfortunately find yourself in a slump these days, worry not, for i've crafted the perfect list of books which will help you overcome and conquer that slump and show it who's the boss ;)

Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan

Can't have a list of books that doesn't include or mention PJO, that's just not how things go on in this blog. Percy Jackson and his friends own my heart, and have bewitched me, body and soul (a little Mr Darcy reference hehe). These fast paced, middle grade books, full of humour, action and cute romance will have you hooked from the very first page.

The Selection by Kiera Cass

If you're into Keeping Up With the Kardashians or any similar reality tv shows, this is the series for you. Full of drama, this series follows the story of 35 girls, competing to win the heart of the charming Prince Maxon in a once in a lifetime opportunity. Set in a dystopian world, this series will have you hooked from the very first book!

The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes

In this book, mystery meets romance as a rich billionaire leaves Avery Grambs his entire fortune (almost) upon his death. Now Avery finds herself in deep water as she gets tangled into the affairs of the the billionaire's four eccentric yet fascinating grandsons. The short chapters will make you want to keep reading until the very last page.

The Hating Game by Sally Thorne

Whether you enjoy romances or not (I don't) a romance book will almost always get you out of a reading slump (speaking from experience). Full of cute moments, humour and angst, The Hating Game is a good book to get you out of that annoying reading slump. It is set in an office between two rivals who hate each other to death, but slowly start to realise that they may not hate one another as much as once implied...

It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover

Mentioning a Colleen Hoover book is a must when it comes to fast paced books. Lily, Ryle and Atlas' heart wrenching story will have you bawl your eyes out (that twist oh my god).

There is no such thing as bad people. We’re all just people who sometimes do bad things.

Ryle made sure of that *eye roll*

Now go and defeat that slump, I'm rooting for you!
